Because your legislative district or organization has endorsed the No on 1183 campaign (or is considering endorsing), I wanted to let you know about the plans we have to get the word out about Costco’s latest liquor privatization initiative and most importantly, how you can help!
As you know, in order to defeat a well-funded, corporate campaign, we need grassroots support. Because you have endorsed us, we are asking you and your members join us for our volunteer phonebank in Seattle.
The campaign will begin our persuasion phonebank on Monday, October 3rd at the UFCW 21 union hall in Seattle. We are looking for individuals and organizations willing to signup for one of our phonebank times and days below. Please consider committing your organization to one of the timeslots below. Or, if you can join us individually, please let me know! We are organizing and looking for phonebanks outside of Seattle, so if your organization has access to a phonebank location (such as a union hall or office with multiple lines and internet access), we would love to work with you on using that location to call voters. Please contact me if you can help us find a phonebank outside of Seattle!
Lastly, we will be ordering doorbell literature in the next few weeks, so if your organization will be walking, please let me know ASAP how much literature you will need so we can order the appropriate amount. We will pass on the literature needs to the No on 1125 campaign as well for those of you who have endorsed them.
