March with Pride – Sunday, June 30

Dear Fellow Colleagues at 11th LD Democrats,

One of the highlights of Seattle’s summer celebrations is the Pride Parade.  This
year it will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

We, King County Democrats, are proud to help sponsor and promote the LGBT community
with our participation in this event.  And we proudly invite our members and friends
to join with us in walking behind the King County Democrats banner in this year’s
Seattle Pride Parade, under the auspices of SO&P, Seattle Out and Proud.

As members of a free and democratic society, We King County Democrats are proud to
support equality – be it gender, race, religion, ethnic, marriage, sexual
orientation, or economic.  We do this in a variety of ways: sponsor legislation to
insure these freedoms are safeguarded, support candidates who espouse these same
values, and walk the path side-by-side with our LGBT neighbors, friends, colleagues,
and family.

So, please put the date on your calendar, invite your elected officials and endorsed
candidates to join with us at the Parade.  Look for our Banner – and join us as we
proudly “walk the walk” of equality and freedom on Sunday, June 30, in downtown
Seattle.
