The General Membership meeting was yesterday (2/15). We had a very long and very nice visit from Richard Conlin, the Seattle City Council President. The membership had lots of great questions and I’m sure the question and answer session could have gone on for hours.
We were also visited by Cara Bilodeau of Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest. She talked about the various issues around funding family planning & cuts that have been proposed.
She also talked about bills HB1366 and SB5274 (the Limited Service Pregnancy Center Accountability Act). Details for both can be found here:
