Happy National Voter Registration Day!
We need to make sure our friends, neighbors, co-workers and family members are registered to vote! It’s super easy to register. Simply go www.registerinwa.org and get to it!
Here in the great state of Washington, ensuring you’re registered at the correct address is equally as important as being registered in the first place. The post office will not forward your ballot! Are you registered at your current address? Not sure? Go to the Secretary of State’s MyVote website to find out. http://www.sos.wa.gov/

Save Schlicher in the Senate!
This year, we witnessed the crippling effect of having Republicans control the Washington State Senate.
Although there are no legislative races in King County in 2013, we do have a critical race this summer in the 26th Legislative District (Pierce and Kitsap Counties).
Retaining Senator Nathan Schlicher is the first step to winning Democratic control of the Washington State Senate. Senator Schlicher was appointed to the seat and faces the Republican machine who is working non-stop to replace him with a Tea Party candidate. We must do all we can to keep Nathan Schlicher in the Senate.
YOU CAN HELP!
Get on the phone and make calls for Schicher! LD volunteers from throughout King County are meeting each Thursday from now until election day at the WA State Party headquarters at 2nd and Cherry in Downtown Seattle.
