Mayoral movies at Northwest Film Forum
I’m reaching out to the 11th District Democrats in connection with upcoming films at Northwest Film Forum, which we think may be of interest to your colleagues and networks.
Next week we open our Mayoral Movies film series, which presents films selected by current candidates for Seattle mayor. The candidates have chosen these films to illustrate their personal political style and philosophy, and will be in attendance to host Q&As following each screening.
City Councilman Bruce Harrell will be presenting his screening of PAPILLON on July 7, more information here: http://www.nwfilmforum.org/live/page/calendar/2756
Peter Steinbrueck will be presenting his screening of BUDDY on July 8, more information here: http://www.nwfilmforum.org/live/page/calendar/2758
The entire film series runs July 5 – 8 at Northwest Film Forum on Capitol Hill; more information is available online: http://www.nwfilmforum.org/live/page/series/2716
We’d be grateful for your time sharing information about these film events with your colleagues and communities, and hope you can join us for the screenings.

This year it will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We, King County Democrats, are proud to help sponsor and promote the LGBT community with our participation in this event. And we proudly invite our members and friends to join with us in walking behind the King County Democrats banner in this year’s Seattle Pride Parade, under the auspices of SO&P, Seattle Out and Proud. Advertising space on the 11th LD Website
Yes, your campaign or business can purchase advertising space on the 11th LD’s Website. Our rates are pretty reasonable and we offer exposure to plenty of viewers every month. A simple ad buy will get you an advertisement on the website and our newsletter for a month.
Recently, Peter Steinbrueck’s campaign for Mayor of Seattle purchased an ad (which you see in this post). You can too. If you’re with a campaign and you’ve received an endorsement, check out the details:
